The Birth of Cooky for Cookies
Cooky for Cookies began as a delightful pastime while I was babysitting my new grandchild. I had never tried making royal icing before, but I figured there was no better time to start than the present. I began with a batch of simple 3-inch round sugar cookies. With the festive season approaching, I decorated them in a lovely winter wonderland theme. When my husband took these cookies to work as a treat, someone remarked on whether I was an artist. That was the moment I became captivated.
This newfound passion led to the creation of Royal Icing Transfer Templates. I discovered that preparing these templates in advance and positioning them in the center of each cookie made the decorating process much simpler and more efficient.
As my skills and confidence grew, I expanded into stencils, printables, and e-books, each allowing me to share my love of baking with others. And as they say, the rest is history.
